Family and Intentions

Letting go and learning the art of acceptance will be somewhat difficult for me as a seaman’s wife. For most of the time my husband is in the ship working away from home, I need to let him go but not to the extent that letting go forever. No. It’s not; I have to let him go to work for ten months in ship for the good of our family and for our future. It’s not easy in our part that we are always alone far from my partner for I am the only who discipline the kids, when ever their father is in vacation the kids are aloft to their father they are shy and they always beside me especially during sleeping time. But the kids have a time to adjust their feelings towards their father after a week they are already close again. And we both understand the situation.

Many people say that why plenty of families are working far from their love ones? It’s because it’s needed, there are plenty of jobs that he can work near to us but it is not enough to support us and his course is intended to work in ship so that is., me also I k now that h e is a seaman I accept him also as my husband for he has also the qualifications that I am looking for, So there are plenty of reasons that we need to accept and that’s why the intension of being far from our love ones is not intent to be but it is meant to be.

Fixing things with a kid

Like many travelers every one needs to fix their things in the bag for proper arrangement before traveling. Just what my partner did, he put altogether his things on the bed so that everything must be seen and he can know what is lacking, he put his bag beside the bed and opens his locker and gets his clothes I helped my partner fold his clothes and everything to be fixed. Where is the bag?!!! Ask my husband. I said I don’t know! You are the one who put it anywhere, but I just put it beside the bed, he said. I go outside the room and find the bag, Oh! My Goodness your bag is here come and see what happen, my partner go out in the room and see the bag. The baby is inside the bag and he has all the toy inside it, my husband is laughing instead of preparing his things he play with baby and leave his things on the bed undone.

After an hour of relaxations, return to work and fixed everything. I’m done my partner said. Ok, I’ll tell him lets go out and have some fun with the kids and a family bonding also for he is leaving for work. So we go out again in the mall and kids are playing on the dinosaur slide then roaming around the mall have fun and oohs I fell hungry so we eat together with a rice, chicken, coke and a yummy ice cream. And we love eating and enjoy the food

Discovery of an Expired document

A challenge and source of tension for this day will be the question on how to balance our time. For this early morning the office of my husband call us that there is a one document that need to be renew in particular his seaman’s book, but we need to renew first his NBI (national bureau of investigation) before he can renew his seaman’s book.

Today is Friday morning and my husband needs to report to the office by Monday and they will depart on Tuesday so it’s been a tough day for us on how to get the renew paper on that day also for it is badly needed in the office for his documents to process. So what did I do first is I call the NBI office on how to process and get the renewed paper on that day. Good that the officer that I talked to is that he gave me a good information that I need to go to a place that they have their access to get the papers in just 5 minutes. So no more second thinking my husband and I go in the car and drive directly to the location. When we are already their, we found out that there are plenty of people fall in line, Wow! How plenty of people want to renew their papers as I talked to my partner, so what we did is to fall in line also and wait for our turn. But I need to rebook his ticket going to Manila for we are staying in cebu coz his flight schedule was change and need to be in the office by Sunday, so I drive to the airlines ticketing office to rebook his flight schedule and go home all one for my partner was not yet done for a long line and I need to drive also my kids going to school. What a busy day for a mom like me.

Home and Beauty

in our home

Every woman has a different ways of being an artistic. Some people want to have a plenty of things that can be seen in their house but others are not. They like to have simple decorations. What I did today is I made a general cleaning in my house, keep away other things that are not necessary to use/see on the living room. I get a big plastic bag and put the things that need to be trash and others I put in the stock room for maybe a future use. I sweep and map the floor, then keep the other trash and now everything my house is very clean, so I take a set and relaxed for a while. I think something needs to change. I talk to my self, the curtain. I go inside my room and get the new curtain to change; again my house is now nice to look at a relaxing place to stay, because I need to make my place nice to look at everyday for me as a mom I always stay in the house and take good care of my kids. After a long relaxation my little boy and I decided to go out and take some refreshment for mommy is hungry and tired. So I drive the car and we go to a mall and have some pizza and ice cream to eat.

The Way of Wonder

The goal for the individuals on the way of wonder is to let go of their extracting attitudes in order to approach life in a more open, relaxed manner, on that is defined by a childlike sense of awe at or delight in the world. Naturally, this requires quite a bit of management and organization. Their mind s are taken up with all the little details of any situation or

issue and with thoughts of how best to arrange them so that they form more beautiful or perfect relationships to one another.

The core lesson of this path is to nourish the child within through play. Teaching them on how to engage in play and making sure that they give themselves enough playtimes and will help to cultivate a sense of wonder. Developing any sort of spontaneity means that they must engage in the work of unlocking their emotional expression. And the reward for this is the joy of playing.

Pre-school kid

In spite of my busy days still I have time having a tutor class to my kid; we open his school handbook and find if what they do for the half day class in school, my baby said, Mom I have an assignment to do in the house my teacher said study at home and do your assignment. Ok, son we I will teach you on how to do your assignment so that you will learn how to do when you are already in school, yes mommy my son replied. Their topic is about the CVC (Consonant-Vowel-Consonant) pattern they are practicing on how to read a three letter word. So we get his book and open the corresponding page. While my baby is reading the book I was so happy that he is now learning how to read and also writing is name. Pre-school kids are exciting to teach because they really wants to learn, even if I’m tired and I want to take a rest still my baby wants me to open his book for we will study again. So what I did is lay down beside him open his book read and after a few minutes we both sleep and hug each others arm.

Discovering a New Baby

A gifted couple who wants to have a second baby had given a chance to have another one, and it was me and my husband. One morning I felt a different feeling that is not normal to me, so we go to a doctor for some check up and then knowing that I am pregnant for the second time. We both happy on that day for we are eager to have a second baby for our elder one needs someone to play on. I pity my first baby for he is always alone in the house playing so we both decided to make another one and t hat’s it we made it for the second time.

After an hour when we are already done in the doctor, we visit my mother-in-law to let them know that I am pregnant again for the second time for my husband also is going to depart in ship to have his work again after a four(4) months vacation. My mother-in –law was very happy knowing that I am pregnant again, my husband told her mother that please take a look at my family for I am going back to work and my wife is pregnant and she reply to his son, ok I’ll take care of them. Our house is one kilometer away from their house so if they will visit us they need to ride going to our place which is they will pay only a minimum fare if the will have to commute. Furthermore, after a story telling and having snacks we ask permission to go home for I need to take a rest for I am tired for the whole day outing and the baby also needs to rest inside my womb.

Love and Understanding

One early morning, after a love quarrel happen before that day still I did not make any sounds. I woke up early to prepare the food of my baby who is now in kinder-1, then I take a bath, eat, change clothes my baby and after that when every thing are prepared I drive him in school. Driving alone going home on that moment is that I felt empty for there is something in my heart that is missing which is the recollection of me and my husband. When I arrived home I go directly to our room, open the computer and make some blog. Let’s eat now our breakfast, said my husband. I go to dining area and set on the table then eat with no sounds again out in my mouth. After eating I return to the computer and do some works. Till my partner told me again that he will be going to the mall. I ask him what you will buy for you are really eager to go. I will buy a ticket going to manila. (For we are staying in cebu an hour flight going to manila) What? I was shocked. His company called him to report immediately to the office in manila for they will be having their briefing and for the next day the will depart and go to work again in ship for another ten (10) months contract.

We go to the ticketing office to buy his ticket and when it is done, my hubby told me to have some refreshment in one of the food chain. What is this peace offering? I said. While waiting for the order to be served he talk to me hold my hands and say. “I’m sorry mom for what did happen yesterday I did not mean to do it let’s forget everything.” Only that magic word he said and my tears begun to fall (char), oh! That’s ok done. Don’t make me cry. Then we eat together with the love and understanding that refresh again in our relation. He drives going home happily with the smile in our hearts. Still Love is powerful above all

Misunderstanding with a family member

Sometimes in our life being a wife and a mother to my children, there are times that we can make things or we can talk bad words that our partner don’t like to hear. Maybe that’s because of many things to do in the house or many thinking that puts into our minds as a mother, that’s why my partner and I had a love quarrel or as what we called LQ. Just yesterday afternoon we go to a mall to buy something and my partner wants to go in other mall and I told him to stay in one mall only for we are running out of time and he said I have something to buy in S.M (shoe mart) in particular for it is a 30 minutes drive from one mall to another, I go their by taxi, said my partner. No. I told him maybe we can go their by next day for we are running out of time and we will go to school to get the kids for they will be going home and we are not their. And that’s the only argument we did until my husband driving going to school, me beside him on the passenger’s set talking nothing as in silence inside the car until we get the children I n school then going home with no one sounds came out in my mouth for I’m really disgusted his idea, but still I am the one who win. During dinner time my husband call me to eat but then I stay in our room lay in my bed and hear nothing, until I sleep beside my baby and did not talk to my husband

Nutritious Food for the Family

Giving the nutritious foods for our kids is the right thing to do. We as parents we need to know the nutritious foods that fit to the needs of our children. Likewise we also needs some materials or have some reference needed to know on how to make nutritious foods for our family. Just like me, I did research in the net and books on what to do or what to make in their breakfast , lunch and dinner specially during their playing time for they loves to eat finger foods while playing in the garden or watching television during their free time and after going to school. One early morning after I drive my little boy to school, while waiting for the time to go out, I run to the super market and bought something to eat and some foods that is necessary needed for my baby specially his “baon” (food in school), I choose to buy some biscuits, bread, cheese, chocolate milk, fresh milk. And other things needed in the house. After a few minutes when I’m done paying in the casher I run directly in the car and drive to the school for I am already out of time, good that my baby did not go out in the classroom and he wait for me. Hello baby!!! I said. How’s my school boy and he smiles at me. By that time I felt quite happy and driving home singing while driving.
