Sounds crazy? Well it’s not as crazy as it is. I know Manny Pacquiao shown time to time willingness to face difficult task. Manny is a guy with six championship belts, who takes apart Oscar dela Hoya in eight rounds and Ricky Hatton in second rounds. I know all of this is a God’s plan for my idol Manny is a religious man he never forgets to put God first in everything he does.
Manny is a man with a plan, and I think he is also a man for the Philippines. Man for the world of boxing for he is the only boxing champion who raise the flag of the Filipino people and show to the whole world that Philippines is really a great one.
I’ve heard news with an interview with Manny Pacquiao that he denies any political ambitions, but he is not closing any doors. One interviewer asks Manny for a rumor of running as a presidential candidate? But Manny smiled, and said Uh! No, just congressmen only, with his honest reply. Well, let us wait and see, if I am to be asks I suggest him not to enter any political ambitions, what for? He has already the money, the popularity, and most of all have a family that loves him so much. And it’s everyone’s aim to have a family as a whole. What is popularity, after all?
Looking back the Pacquiao-Hatton fights in Las Vegas, must have been a heaven for Filipinos, a shot that proving the country’s greatness to the world. But, Hatton was devastated by his shock defeat. Hatton says in an Sky sports news that he had not anticipated the Filipino’s knock out punch, which lead him flat on the floor, but if the game gone a few rounds it could have been a different, but he caught me with practically the first punch he throw, said Hatton with an honest answer. I’ve lost twice and I’ve lost to the pound-for-pound fighters in the world, it’s not bad of looking at it, but I’m devastated. I would not put my money on that happening, Hatton ended.
Well, let us see and watch for the number one boxing champ in the world next in line. I think it’s a hard time for the boxers to fight Manny on the ring. And for the Pacquiao-Hatton fight it gives a victory to every Filipino family because we all enjoy the fight especially my children, while watching they are also punching our sofa, shouting and laughing watching the fight.
