Children’s Verses

A Child’s Wish
I wish to make a tree
Beautiful when days are gay
Swaying, releasing air so fresh
Keeping one’s mind free
I also wish trees could speak
Things they want us to make
Share thoughts as candid as can be
Loft lest of all will keep ‘em in glee.
I wish people wouldn’t cut
Young trees that share delights
Brighten our senses, fill the lungs
Fix the whole body that sags.
Lastly, I wish to tell the world,
Conserved the forest for they are gold
Let’s plant more and more trees today
For our children’s brand new world to say.
