Are You Angry?
Anger is a strong emotion of displeasure and resentment. It is a feeling of irritation which prompts one to do something bad. Its size depends on two things; the kind of stimulus which arouses the anger and the nature of the person who feels it. It can smolder and burst into flame and result in action or be processes and burn internally.
Anger is a very personal thing. It arises when you feel things are not as you want them to be. We can respond to it in the following ways like suppression of anger may seem good for those around us. But it may be hard on us and may even make you sick. Anger prepares our body for action. If we don’t react to a situation, we build a fire and cut off the draft. Anger may smolder inside us for a long time. This causes tension, a condition we feel all over our body and the solution is the use of reason. Intelligence can convince us that it is time to put out the fire.
The expression of anger may solve the immediate problem facing us. But sometimes anger expressed actively without control and gets us into trouble. The consequences may be far worse than the original problem because our friends may be hurt by this kind of behavior.
When things don’t go well us and we get angry, we should not blame outcome, hard luck or other people. These are negative responses and we will never solve our problem. Look for the real cause and do something constructive about it.
