The Important Use of Papaya

papayaPapaya grows anywhere it is a fast growing plant. It grows from 3 to 6 meters high and the trunk is soft and marked with petiole scars. It usually has no branch but sometimes branches grow when we cut the trunk or it is wounded. Its leaves are large and lobed, borne are long and have a hollow stalk.

These papaya plant are classified into two, there is male and a female papaya. The male papaya bears flowers in long and slender stalks and it never bear fruits only female papaya bears fruits which is very delicious and rich in vitamin A and C.

There are sizes of papaya big others are small, some are round and others are oblong. When it is ripe the flesh is yellowish or sometime orange in color. It has a mildly sweet flavor with a slightly mushy tang. Some papaya when you opened it has lots of seeds and other no seeds at all and it is very easy to eat without seeds for you will slice it directly and taste the very yummy fruit. A favorite fruit of my son for he told me that we badly needed to eat papaya for it is good for our eyes as what his teacher told to them and I said that it is true especially now a days that your eyes are very tired and focused in computer games.

Papaya is rich in vitamins A and C and it is also helps in digestion, a perfect alternative to food if you are suffering from constipation. The green papaya also has some minerals that are good for our body. Is has a medical properties especially for skin beautifier. Te pulp of ripe papaya fruit when used as skin soap and removes freckles. When we eat papaya regularly it is also a good medicine for dyspepsia or indigestion. A papaya also which is made from the milky juice is used as a meat tenderizer. There are many uses of papaya but sometimes we don’t have any idea on what to do and it’s uses. Beef with Green Papaya

Ingredients:

2 green papayas

Soy sauce or patis is good

1 tbsp. cooking oil

3 cloves garlic

½ cup pepper leaves 2 tomatoes

½ pound beef

Procedure:

Saute the garlic and other ingredients except the pepper leaves and papayas. Add water and boil. Drop the papayas and cook until tender. Before removing from fire add the pepper leaves. Serve hot.

It’s just simple and everyone will love to eat especially if your partner loves papaya during your meal. Try it and enjoy eating the good recipe of papaya.
