Credit Cards are Very Important in Our Daily Lives

In our generation today, we are now living wherein most people are very dependent in using credit cards. It can’t be denied that using credit cards is an easy way of paying in anything like shopping, airline tickets, online bookings and etc. credit card is very useful to each and every one of us. Most likely if you are traveling, you need not to bring more cash for it is very risky and not advisable to bring for we don’t know that there are bad people around us and it is difficult that’s why most of us are using credit cards as our major way of payment.

Credit cards is just a simple plastic in our wallet so we can easily pay whatever we want for our needs, but sometimes we cannot notice that when we receive the bill it is quite shocking for we have a big amount to be paid on. But we need not to worry for situation like this for there is a credit card debt consolidation that is design to help those who are a little bit problematic in paying for their credit card bills. There are lots of options for every borrowers struggling with unsecured debts and there are credit counselors that will assist us a budget provide and solutions to our credit cards debt.

This is one lesson that I acquire in using credit cards, it is very easy to spend using our credit cards but it is difficult to pay especially if you have a limited budget. So as a sort of advice to credit cards users that buy only the thing that you needed most and charge only what you can afford to pay, but if cannot be avoided you can count on with debt consolidation to help us assist paying our debts.

Filled Your Wallet with Plastic not a Paper

In this new environment today, sometimes it is hard to bring cash, better use cards in your daily shopping. Why? For most of the time it is not advisable to pay in cash for there are some bad people around us and it can’t be avoided sometimes and we don’t know what will happen. Also through cards we can easily manage our budget at the same time you’re safe.

You’d rather say, charge it; than count change or deal with the ATM. Favoring cards over cash isn’t necessarily a bad thing, there are some people who use their cash-back rewards to the fullest and are able to stay on top of their finances with their monthly statements. But for most of us, this pattern indicates that you’re not aware of exactly your money is going which makes it easy to overspend. Mapping out the budget on paper and switching to cash for some (if not all) of your expenditures will help you keep on top of what you’re doling out.

Times to time scammers are trying to find ways and means just to earn and we must be aware about this credit card scams. More than being familiar with these unscrupulous or immoral schemes, it’s every card holder’s responsibility as well to take the necessary precautions to make sure these cases don’t happen.

  2. Do not give out important details like card number, expiry date, the security number at the back of the card and other information to anybody.
  3. Know your credit card company’s 24/7 hotline, so that in case you need to report a stolen or lost card, or if you suspect fraudulent transactions in your card you can easily contact them.

A friend of mine didn’t notice that her credit card had already expired until she tried to use it to pay for a meal at a restaurant. She immediately called up her bank to ask for the renewal card. Usually they send the renewal card way ahead of the expiration date, so it completely slipped in mind to check the validity of my friends’ card.

She learned the bank that her renewal card was sent on time, but to her old billing address. My friend have been using a different billing address for more than five years now, so it was a shock when they said the name of the person who received the card on behalf of my friend. She did not know the person and nor did the occupants of her old billing address. When my friend checked her billing statements, she realized she had already paying for this person purchases for 3 months.

My friend case isn’t the first and only credit card fraud cases ever to be reported. In fact fraudster continues to find new ways of targeting unsuspecting costumers. So, my friends please do make sure that your credit card are checked and properly put in your wallet for security reasons.
