My Favorite Flower

The Lavender cymbidium remains the flower closest to my heart; I first laid my eyes upon a cymbidium when I was still 12 years of age. My mother was planting a coconut husk and it was love at first sight. I wanted my own batch of cymbidium in coconut husks and I started working towards it. My love for plants and flowers has grown over the years.

Cymbidiums in the Philippines are different from the ones you find in other countries where famous for the flowers. Although they are not the orchid family, they have a remarkable resemblance to it.

Cymbidiums are known for tier long lasting sprays of flowers, it’s precisely for this reason that I love them so much.
