Couple Turn Out To Be a Family
The vital role of every person is to become a parent. Unfortunately, it is also a role for which we receive little if any preparation. When the baby arrives in a family everyone is very excited, husband and wife are no longer simply a couple, we are now one family. A child gives the light in the family and all decisions must take baby first into consideration.
With the three people in the family, there are responsibilities for alliances, partnerships, and secrets that were not there before during the absence of baby in the house. For one thing that goes on between other twosomes. The alliance between mother and child is quite difference between father and child and this true and proven by me. These alliances are different from the one between mother and father.
When both couple decides of what kind of parents they want to be, we must take into account what kind of family we want to have and start to try some things consistent with the kind of people we are and the kind of baby we have. Parenting attitudes provides us links between individuals’ identity, family practices, and societal rules.
In our society today generations of birth parents represents a new breed. In most cases we have chosen to become parents. Despite of living in a work of social conflicts and change, we accept all the challenges of being a parent or of trying to rear healthy and well adjusted children in our community. However, there are lots of parents today who receive little in the way of preparation for child rearing other than training for a job. Although we may have rather definite ideas about the right and wrong ways of bringing up our children, sometimes we often lack of knowledge in coping up with the challenge confronting our children.
Parents before, when the baby is born they begun to wonder on how they should deal with problems that may arise. Thinking of what kind of discipline should we use. How parents deal with these questions as a child grows up depends on many factors and the nature, and the outcome of our children rearing are heavenly influenced by the relationship between our children and the environment they are living.
Tips on How to Improve our Memory
Still remember our childhood days? Me I don’t remember some, the first day in school, my first classmates, my first teacher, my first friend in school, and my first playmate. Human consciousness and identity –our lives- are bound with memory. Our memories make us who we are.
Remembering is effortless and instinctive for most of us, sometimes I forget how difficult and important an act it actually is. Why do we remember some events so clearly and others are not? Why does memory decline as one ages? Can we really boost our memories? So, I research this topic for I am also very confused why it happens to us.
Our brain is man’s organ of thought, speech, emotion and memory. It is the body’s control center. The brain has the jelly like consistency. It reveled that our memory has two major forms; one form is concerned with knowing how or knowledge with motor skills, the other is concerned knowing what, or knowledge of facts and events. Once our memory has been acquired, once it has been in a stable store for more than an hour, memory can maintain itself by using the proteins that are already available.
Here are some tips on how to improve our memory;
- Stimulate your brain’s neutral circuit to grow by using your memory to the utmost. Challenge your mind, learn a new skill and develop it to the fullest.
- Filter data. Determine what is the most important and concentrate on remembering them. Do not try to memorize everything.
- Recite. Saying ideas aloud is an effective way to convert short-term knowledge to long term memory.
- Use mnemonic device to help you remember a list of facts or steps in a procedure.
- Take vitamins that are essential for the proper functioning of memory.
- Drink enough water. Research has shown that dehydration affects memory, causing confusion and thought difficulties.
- Get enough sleep. Lack of sleep directly affects the brain impairing concentration and storing of information.
- Stay off the booze. Excessive alcohol intake has an extremely damaging affect on memory. Studies have shown that small amount of alcohol interferes with the ability of remembering.
- Do not smoke. Smoking rubs the brain of oxygen and it affects memory.
